The basic concept of a single photon quantum radar is as follows: a single photon emanates toward a target, and consequently the photon is scattered back to the receiver . By contrast, in the mechanism of an entangled-photon quantum radar, an entangled pair of microwave photons is produced. In this case, one photon is emitted toward the object, and the other is stored in theRadar sensors.

The outward photon is then reflected by the object and consequently received by the radar system. In this view, the connections entrenched in the entangled condition are oppressed to enhance detection operation .
